General Manager
Bob Hensley
Bob has been in the marina industry for over 45 years. As a young man he worked with his father as a commercial fisherman in his spare time on the Great Lakes, a career path he continued through much of his young life. After earning a business degree and a brief stint in banking, Hensley continued his path in the marine industry as a full-time commercial fisherman and delivery skipper. Hensley later attended the United States Maritime Academy where he earned his license as a Maritime Marine Officer and ultimately became certified as a 200-ton Master Captain.
For 25 years he delivered yachts around the world including Italy, France, Croatia, Spain, Australia, South Korea and Russia before deciding to return home. Hensley moved into Marina Management and his most recent post was Designing, Building and Managing Burlington Harbor Marina in Burlington, Vermont.
He is a member of the International Shipmasters Association and teaches future Captains how to Navigate the Waterways.
